My Story
I am Arman Ameri Mahani, an Indo-Persian musician, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and guide of Meditative Raga Singing.
My work lives at the intersection of music, inner experience, and human well-being.
For me, music has never been only an art form. It is a way to understand the human inner world, to touch subtle emotional states, and to support inner balance and awareness. My artistic vision is deeply influenced by Persian Sufism and Iranian mystical traditions, where music is seen as a path for inner transformation and spiritual growth.
After growing up with Iranian ethnic and Sufi music, I traveled to India to study Dhrupad—an ancient form of Indian classical music rooted in Nada Yoga, the yoga of sound and vibration. This tradition helped me connect musical beauty with deep inner listening and presence.
In 2022, I moved to the Netherlands to study New Audiences and Innovative Practice (Master of Music), where I further developed my work around Meditative Raga Singing and Attentive Listening. Since then, this practice has become the core of my professional work, shared through performances, workshops, and community-based projects with diverse audiences.
